Beau Cummings has always loved making things. The process of bringing ideas from imagination to paper, and from paper into the tangible, continues to excite and challenge him.

Clay is a profoundly dynamic medium for object creation. Working with it, he finds there are few limitations beyond his own imagination and technical skill. Inspiration for new work arrives through a perpetual question: how is he interacting with the world, and what objects could enrich that experience — both aesthetically and practically?

Each ceramic piece is slowly handmade in his backyard studio on Dharug and Gundungurra Country, in so-called Springwood, NSW.
