Hannah Bealie

Hannah Beale is an Australian artist currently living and working in Adelong, Wiradjuri land. She studied at the National Art School, graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in printmaking. Hannah’s work explores themes of botanical life, memory, childhood, and memento mori, drawing inspiration from the flora and fauna of her mother’s garden in Adelong and the bushland surrounding her childhood home in Tumbarumba.

Hannah’s practice includes painting, drawing, and printmaking, with a focus on copper etchings using aquatint. She has been involved in various exhibitions, including the 2024 National Art School Grad Show, 2024 group show ‘Quarter-life Crisis’ at Goodspace in Chippendale and the 2023 ‘Silk Road’ group show at Cuppacumbalong Homestead in Canberra. In 2023, she painted a mural for a paediatrics room at Empower Better Health in Dickson, Canberra.

In addition to her exhibitions, Hannah has worked in a local Gallery, Plane Tree Gallery in Tumut. Hannah has completed several commissions, and her work is held in private collections.
